Idol tonight is pre-taped (like last week)… live performances should start next week. Because the show is being well planned we have a pretty good idea of what will happen.

* Jacob Lusk – I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly)
* Thia Megia – Smile (Michael Jackson)
* Stefano Langone – Lately (Stevie Wonder)
* Karen Rodriguez – I Could Fall In Love (Selena)
* Scotty McCreery – The River (Garth Brooks)
* Naima Adedapo – Umbrella (Rihanna)
I’m looking forward to seeing Casey sing the Joe Cocker song and Scotty should do well on familiar ground with the Garth Brooks. Pia, who was a stand out last week, should do well with “All By Myself” and Thia seems to have taken the judges Michael Jackson comments to heart. Steven Tyler’s wild card, Naima, will be the last up with her rendition of Rihanna’s “Umbrella” – typically they save the best for last so here’s to hoping she proves herself worth the save.
